Terms & Conditions
DEFINITIONS
Booking: means the period for which you have paid to stay at the property.
Property: means The Mill Houses Narbethong - 688 Maroondah Hwy, Narbethong, Vic, 3778 and all its fixtures, fittings and equipment.
Management: means the owners and other appointed managers of the property.
Guests: means the persons who stay overnight in the property during the booking.
Visitor: means a person a Guest permits to visit the property during the booking with Management approval
2. ACCEPTANCE & RESPONSIBILITY
Payment of a deposit or full payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
3. CHECK IN/OUT
Check in time is 2pm on the arrival date.
Check out is 11am sharp on the departure date.
Any unauthorized late departures will incur a $25 fee per hour or part thereof to cover cleaner’s cost.
Key access code will be emailed or telephoned to the guest a few days prior to arrival.
Key box is on the side of each house near the sliding door entrance. Key in code to remove front door key. Upon departure key is to be placed and locked in the key box.
4. PAYMENT
Payment in full must be made upon making a booking.
We accept payment by the following methods: Visa, Mastercard, Direct Deposit into our bank account.
A credit card authorisation must be provided to Management upon confirmation of your Booking for security.
Our bank details will be advised to you when securing the booking.
5. CANCELLATION OR VARIATION
If you wish to vary or cancel your booking, please contact us immediately.
Any cancellations within 14 days of arrival will NOT be refunded.
Should you be eligible for a refund it will be made through your chosen payment method at time of Booking.
A variation of the Booking which reduces the number of guests will be treated as a cancellation of the Booking in respect of those Guests.
We have a minimum nights stay policy of 2 nights. 3 night minimum long weekends. No refund will be made for a variation to the extent that it breaches our minimum nights stay policy.
A credit card authorization must be provided to Management upon confirmation of your Booking.
Any damage loss or expense incurred by Management as a result of your breach of these Terms and Conditions will be charged against the credit card. Examples include but are not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra Guests or Visitors beyond those declared.
6. UNAVAILABILITY
If the property becomes unavailable for your occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances (eg: fire, storm damage etc.) then Management will inform you immediately and endeavor to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your occupancy, failing which, any monies paid will be refunded in full.
7. PARTIES & FUNCTIONS
Large parties and functions are strictly prohibited.
Breach of this condition may result in immediate termination and eviction without refund and extra charges for security, cleaning, garbage removal, wear & tear, repairs etc.
8. PETS
Pets are not allowed at the Property.
9. YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
You must comply with all applicable rules and all instructions from Management and the caretakers of the Property concerning occupancy, property, health, safety and quiet enjoyment of the Property and our neighbors.
You are responsible for damages, breakages, theft and loss of the Property and any part of it during your stay.
You must notify us of this immediately. Management may recover from you repair or replacement cost (at Management’s discretion).
Only the guests nominated and agreed in the Booking may stay in the Property overnight. If any other guests stay extra charges may apply or the agreement may be terminated without refund.
Disturbance to our neighbors, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extra charges may be made for security and other expenses.
Before departure, all food must be removed from the fridge, all rubbish put in the rubbish bins provided, and crockery and cutlery washed and packed away. The property must be left in a clean and tidy condition.
All furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived.
The property must be vacated on time and secured. All windows and doors are to be locked. Key must be returned to the key box and locked using the key code already advised to you.
Personal belongings left behind after checking out will be posted and returned to the owner/s at the owner/s expense.
You are responsible for the safe keeping and replacement of accommodation keys.
Smoking is not permitted inside the Property. Smoking is allowed outside the Property. Cigarette butts are to be put in the ashtray provided.
10 PROBLEMS OR COMPLAINTS
In the case of any problem or complaint, you must inform Management at the earliest opportunity so Management has the chance to rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible. You must allow repair/service access to the property during reasonable hours.
